I put together a salad yesterday for a gathering that basically took a kitchen sink approach: mixed lettuces (including, of course, Romaine), with some arugula, chopped scallions, diced red onion, cherry tomatoes, chopped baby carrots, diced red bell pepper, chopped sugar snap peas, a little sliced celery, separated broccoli florets, minced radishes, pepitas, and shredded sharp white Cheddar. (If I hadn't been lazy I'd have made and sliced hard-boiled eggs for it, too.) Our friend Ben and I took a bottle of 3-cheese ranch dressing along just in case our hosts didn't have any dressing on hand (it's their weekend home). Let's just say that no salad came back home with us! I'm so thrilled that you're doing this and can't wait to see your other confabulations!---Silenceour friend Benhttp://ourfriendben.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
