I live on a slope, so I've always used terracing to try to slow the run-off. Being a Texan, I just can't stand to see that precious water go to waste.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5914810585595300402.post-46970583991816863132008-05-23T20:31:00.000-07:002008-05-23T20:31:00.000-07:00Hi cinj, I was able to visit a couple of homes wit...Hi cinj, I was able to visit a couple of homes with bog gardens on a garden tour last week. I've been thinking it would be nice to have a pond, but I'm too lazy to keep the water sparkling clean. I think this might be a wonderful solution for me. I will post about that soon. Thanks for stopping by. Glad to add you to the side bar. But the frogs, toads and snakes (yes) love it. I have a wet area after a rain but it drains and dries up real fast.<BR/>Thank you for adding me to your blogroll on the sidebar :)Jane O'https://www.blogger.com/profile/06426526301234517692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5914810585595300402.post-56145867339196802192008-05-22T07:20:00.000-07:002008-05-22T07:20:00.000-07:00Hi OFB, Don't buy tadpoles. My neighbor gets tons of frogs in his in-ground water gardens, and of course, we have them in our little stream, Hawk Run, but I keep hoping, hoping that a few will visit the container gardens. (I'm not as brave as you, though--I haven't been able to bring myself to actually buy tadpoles!) How's your container water garden doing, by the way?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
