I've tried to keep them full to capacity since it has been damp & dreary for the past few days. I usually have a bunch of small to medium sized birds some cardinals, some blue birds, a mocking bird or two, and some brownish birds. Some of these birds sing. I don't know which ones and couldn't identify them by the sound they make. I just don't have any birds this year.

Shala, I know it. I don't know about songbirds in particular. Clue me in. I have lots of birds now. I love to hear them up in the trees, calling to one another. The wind today is beastly however, and even the birds are distant and hiding.
BrendaBrenda Pruitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14544794729410559072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5914810585595300402.post-41411585205867937562009-01-19T06:26:00.000-08:002009-01-19T06:26:00.000-08:00Yes, but I seem to miss songbirds ever winter. Just hanging the washing here is enough for me!
I was reading an article on negative ions yesterday, very interesting. They say we should all have water features in our homes, even just a little fountain thingie.FoxyMoronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13540367675466917677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5914810585595300402.post-54927984621053373292009-01-18T17:06:00.001-08:002009-01-18T17:06:00.001-08:00Debbi - I'm sure the warmth of the trampoline was ...Debbi - I'm sure the warmth of the trampoline was nice -- it got up to 70 today, but my daughter was sick last night and didn't feel up to being outside, so I got stuck in the house all day. Glad you could get out and get some vitamin D. I have my birds still, but they periodically stay away for a short time, so maybe they were just visiting elsewhere today.Dianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08681758051433522246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5914810585595300402.post-86201356348088860872009-01-18T17:06:00.000-08:002009-01-18T17:06:00.000-08:00Aunt Debbi,In the morning and near twilight, I hav...Aunt Debbi,
In the morning and near twilight, I have lots of birds in my feeder. I noticed that during the day, if the weather is nice, they disappear. Maybe they are foraging in their nature habitats! They seem to come in moring and evening to fullfil their appetite.
LenaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
