Super Monkey

Posted by Picasa

My Mom and her best friend took the boys on a little adventure today. At first, I was like, "What about me?" Then I realized this would mean one whole day to myself- all alone. YIPEE, and the boys didn't miss me for a minute. They came home a little tired, and the above pictured monkey had motion sickness. Still, they were very happy.

"What did I do with my day?", you ask. I cleaned the refrigerator. Nope, not playing, I cleaned up the refrigerator. It sparkles.

Tell me you would be more inspired if you had hours of time to fill in anyway you desired. Seriously, tell me.

  1. LOL. Sounds like something I'd do. I cleaned the kids' rooms. I was tired of not being able to vacuum so I broke down and cleaned it. When will I ever learn?

Isn't it nice to get a little break once in a while?

  5. Amazingly enough, I do have blocks of time that I can do anything I want. That is, as long as two little dogs can follow along behind me. But I have to say, cleaning the refrigerator is probably my least favorite thing to do. So it doesn't get done often. It seems like no matter how much time you have (and you will once the monkeys leave for another jungle), it just isn't enough to get everything done. Happy New Year!

  6. Cinj, I am not cleaning their rooms

    It was lorilee,

Linda, I will send new years day out in my garden unless we get cold again.

Joy, the rest of the house including my office is a wreck.

Brenda, It did dawn on me that yesterday was what my life is going to be like in another nine years or so.

  7. I was just wondering... did they manage to spill something in it yet? It never fails that as soon as I clean something the tornadoes come through to dirty it up.
