I did it again. I waited until the last minute to finish the quilt wall hanging for the silent auction at our master gardener spring seminar.
The top picture is the quilt at 4:00 this afternoon. The bottom picture is the quilt just after midnight when I finished it. In between 4:00 and midnight I helped set up for the seminar, attended my baby sister's birthday party, and quilted and put the binding on the quilt. Now I need to wind down and go to sleep so I can get up at 6:00 am.

What a hectic day. Are you awake already? I wonder what time it is now at your place. It's 3 pm in Malaysia. Hope you enjoy the seminar.
ReplyDelete2 am. and i cannot fall asleep. Tomorrow is going to be hard. lots of coffee will be needed.
ReplyDeleteWonderful job. I love the colors..
ReplyDeleteDebbie .. you poor thing , lack of sleep is very hard on you girl (have some chocolate with your coffee .. big buzz will happen, I promise ! LOL)
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt ! I have seen one done like that and in those colours .. VERY pretty indeed !!
Thanks Tink
ReplyDeleteJoy, It is 6:46 and I am eating that chocolate.
Hey, whatever works! There's nothing like a deadline to get things done. I like the quilt and hope you have fun today!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for getting it done! With our 50 mph winds all night, I didn't get any sleep last night, either. Nothing like lying awake for hours wondering if a tree is going to come crashing down on your house or car! Hope you're awake enough to have fun today anyway.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt Debbi! I don't know how you do all you do! Makes me tired just reading about it! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely!
ReplyDeleteMonica, I usually am working on some project in the middle of the night before the deadline. Silly me.
ReplyDeleteSilence, I enjoyed myself, but boy am I worn out.
Linda, Me too. I look at this stuff and think "who is this crazy lady?"
Thanks, My Little Family.
It's very beautiful, Debbi. I love the cool shades of blue and the butterfly. Happy quilting indeed.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodi
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. I love that butterfly applique. You amaze me.~~Dee
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful Deb. Glad you got to bring it home. No one probably knew the work involved. Looks like you hauled home a good amount of plants. Sounds like it was a huge success. Congrats on all of it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dee, I was really happy with it as it was my first attempt at reverse applique. We found a beautiful new born baby girl to give it to.
ReplyDeleteAnna, it all turned out good. We made a little less money, but reached a lot more people. It is the people contact that counts.
