Mock Manicotti
I am getting really tired of the blogger mess. I wrote a post in Word to try to deal with the spacing issue and now blogger will not let me copy and paste. I am sure the spacing will be messed up on this post too.
That picture is of mock manicotti. I parboiled collard leave to wrap around a mixture of ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and egg. Placed them in the casserole dish, add mushrooms, cover with marinara sauce and a little more mozzarella. Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
Now, remember when I said I wanted to interview some of you. Well, here we go. This is to all the cooks. If you make a blog post from this, I will link it. If you email the answers to me instead, I will make create a post from your response on this blog.
Here are the questions.
At what age did you begin cooking?
Who taught you?
What type of food is your favorite?
Where to you get your best ingredients?
Do you know any cooking tricks?
Will you share a recipe?

Well, if you're sure then I will mock manicotti: Oh, you think you're so tomatoey and cheesy and Italian, do you? Aren't you just the dish? There. (HA HA! Get it?)
ReplyDeleteMonica, hahahahaha. The manicotti is ticked.
ReplyDeleteI am good at eating :) and MM looks delish.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, this sounds so good. i love any thing Italian-mock or not. :) If you give me a day or two, I will play along. Sorry about your posting problems. Sometimes it is so exasperating, but we all have the same issues and realize what's going on.
ReplyDeleteAbout the copy and paste thing. Click on Edit HTML and it will let you paste from word. After you paste you can click on compose to get back to your regular writing mode. Took me forever to figure this one out. Recipe sounds real good too. I had a friend once who made great manicotti but I have always been too lazy to do it myself -i'll probably try this one. thanks.
ReplyDeleteDebbi--I'll do a post when I get home from work answering the questions.
ReplyDeleteThe Manicotti looks great! I'll have a glass of wine with mine please! :)
Debbi, I love it! I'll start working on a post right now. It will take a couple of days, but I'll let ya know when I'm posting it! Thanks for the opportunity to share!
ReplyDeleteWith regardst your post, you could transfer it from Word to Notepad and then to your Blog, not sure if it will work for you but it does for me!
ReplyDeleteyou made me hungry with your trails of manicotti!!
Yummy(-: Can I come to dinner?(-:
ReplyDeleteWhen you post do you post in the edit HTML mode or the Compose mode? I use HTML mode because I can do about anything. Copy/Paste is my favorite thing to do(-:
Mothernaturesgarden, try it, you'll like it.
ReplyDeleteBeckie, if you do it, make sure you let me know so I can link it.
KMG, Thanks for the advise. It really did help.
Thanks Linda.
Dragonfly lady, I tried that and failed.
Cindee, thanks again. I was doing everything in compose mode.
