  2. diana, I might just use my trusty felcos to take off that mop. It would have to be an improvement.

  4. Tina, You don't thinks so. I think I have let it go too far.

  5. It's all the style for teenaged boys now. Usually when my son gets into trouble the first place he goes is the barber shop:) No complaints as he knows it is coming. If your boy is a good boy, gets good grades and listens, I say let it go. But I am kind of liberal. Can you tell?

  6. Then I won't show you how long my youngest son's hair is at the moment. :)

  7. Geez, at least if you need to find something to mop the floor you know where to look(???). My son's in the "I hate combing my hair phase" so he keeps his hair close to the scalp.

  8. Tina, manly man suggested that as kid control. I thought it was too mean. I need to quit being such a whimp. Remember, this one is my Baby Monkey, the most difficult monkey to raise. He is also the most interesting.

Racquel, is he dressing up in your hair accessories?

Cinj, a couple of years ago they were all shorn. Now, I think I have lost control and my mothers massive hair gene seems to be in play.

  10. Hey Your blog looks pretty--long haired monkey and all. I can't believe he was willing to get his photo taken with those hair thingies wound around like that. He looks like a funny kid..just like my gang. My grown children were all home today and I loved it but my poor ribs ache from laughing.

Laughter makes it all better don't cha think. Your son is going to grow to be a handssome man and then the trouble will really begin. And he'll get tired of that hair too.

  11. inadvertentgardener, I really think he needs something with a little more style. That didn't even qualify as a ponyhawk.

Anna, thanks. Sister#4 clued me into another blog decorating site. It had lots of backgrounds to play with. Much like his mother, my boy had no pride. He will do anything for a laugh.

  12. Nope I have to say he isn't using my hair accessories but it's long enough that he could put it in a pony tail. ;P

  13. Lord, Debbi, get that boy to the barber before someone at school starts bullying him. We know how these Texas kids can get... Lord, how do you do it day after day...

  14. I think he's adorable. Can he act? I think he should try out for anything written by Dickens! Oliver Twist anyone?

  15. Racquel, the schools here won't allow the boys hair to be that long. In fact, we need to cut it or we are going to get a note.

You're right Brenda, it has to be cut. I'm not worried about bullies, I am worried about the school dress code.

Thanks Kathryn, I don't know if he can act, but he certainly can act up.

  16. He is gorgeous Debbi. My boy's hair is way too long also. But he's in the "why do I have to shower and get my hair cut" phase.
