Salmon Queen Scabiosa Seed Trial

Posted by Picasa

I received my seeds from Jodi of In the Garden This afternoon. I am very excited. She sent good direction for starting the seeds and a list of questions for reporting our findings. This will be the first time I participate in a seed trial. I have tested roses for the Earthkind project.

I need to quit blogging and send Jodi an email to let her know that the seeds are here.

In the above picture I made my first attempt at adding text over a photo. Still learning here people. Obviously, the font needed to be larger. Maybe next time it will be legible.

  1. You did good Deb! We only learn by giving it a go.

  2. Foxy, Jodi did good in the offering. I am just happy to be part of it all.

  3. Awesome. I look forward to seeing the results. Feels scary doesn't it? You have to make them grow!

  4. Opps...this is my url. The other one is going to be about my cottage and I don't have that blog up and running yet--officially.

  5. Hi Deb - I love seed trials! I did radish and tomato trials this year and it was a lot of fun :)

  6. What fun! I enjoy getting things in the mail. Raquel and I did a seed exchange too... Flowers are so beautiful, aren't they?

  7. Hey Debbie .. there are so many things I don't know how to do on here it ain't funny !
The flower seed thing is a fun thing to do .. I'm not good with seeds .. poor things just up and die on me .. so that part of gardening is better off without me ! haha

  8. I think you did a good job..I never understand how to do those kinds of things blogging.
How is your new job Debbi?

  9. Anna, it is intimidating. Looking forward to seeing the new site.

VP, I am looking forward to it. I think I may start them several different ways to see which works best.

Cinj, this is my first blogging induced plant swapish thing, well except for the passion vine I gave to Nola.

Joy, you do great with transplants. Your garden is lovely.

Meadowview, the text over photo thing is out of Picasa3. The job is great. I will post about it soon.
