It is that time of year again. Just when we have made it through the holidays and it looks like winter will be over. Right about the time it seems possible to lose a little weight, the Girl Scouts arrive with their crack. Every year for Valentine's I get a box of chocolates or two. Then a couple of weeks later, I get a box of Thin Mints or two. These are gifts from Manly Man and I love him. Now, I don't eat all of the candy or cookies at one time. In fact, I eat about one piece of candy or one cookie a day. Here is the problem, I do not want to share my cookies or my candy with anybody. To keep them all to myself, I hide the boxes all over the house. If something happens to me y'all are going to have to come over here and find it all.
Thin Mints or Samoas?
Almost Thanksgiving!

Both!!! And add some trefoils into the mix...yum!
ReplyDeleteBoth, but the thin mints go in the freezer. Yum!
ReplyDeleteNola, Yum is right.
ReplyDeleteGardeness, If I can find a place to hide them in our freezer, I will give that a try.
Another chocky hider! I am not a huge chocolate fan, but every so often I get the urge for some. I too hide mine all over, as if Phill and the kids had access it would be gone in a flash!
ReplyDeleteFoxy, Exactly
ReplyDeleteThin Mints AND Samoas!! YUM!!!
ReplyDeleteSo does anyone else know your hiding places?

I heard on the news that this economic slump has sadly hit the Girl Scouts too. Isn't that sad? The most innocent of entrepreneurs. So glad to see you're being so generous! (But then of course you get a marvelous reward!)
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Hi Linda. Sounds like you like cookies.
ReplyDeleteCindy, Manly Man has a clue, but I bet he can't find them all.
Brenda, I saw the same thing on the news. So sad. Hopefully, things will get better soon.
Of, definitely thin mints, no question! :)
ReplyDeleteMy son was in scouting for years and of course the Girls always brought their cookies to sell at his meetings. Yikes they are so good. Thin Mints are my favorite! I also love the candy Melt Aways. Those are so addictive!
ReplyDeleteMe too Monica.
ReplyDeleteCindee, what are these candy melt aways you speak of. I may have a bigger problem that I thought.
I LOVE girl scout cookies! They show up at our grocery stores this time of year- I have to make sure hubby doesn't go shopping with me or we end up with a lot more than we should! I swear, their like drug dealers!
ReplyDeleteBoth of course! I have both in my pantry right now, just having had them delivered to me yesterday! So funny.
ReplyDeleteI love chocolates too :)
ReplyDeleteTessa, Yes they are.
ReplyDeleteKim and Victoria, Manly Man kept his samoas at work.
Marie, Looks like we are in good company.
Oh no, I misread your headline as "Thin Mints or Samosas"! I have nothing against thin mints, but I LOVE samosas. Now I'm craving Indian food...
ReplyDeleteThin mints. Mint chocolate chip is my favorite ice cream.
ReplyDelete--Curmudgeon
Ofb, you made me google:)
ReplyDeleteCurmudgeon, I love mint chocolate chip ice cream too.
I do the same thing Deb, lol. I love Samoas, but hubby likes the Thin Mints. He ordered about 15 boxes this year from a co-worker's daughter. They saw him coming don't you think, lol ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, Racquel, fifteen boxes. I feel like we may have let the girl scouts down.
