They all Came Back

I had a little time between weather situations to go check out my perennial border and see what came back. The Shasta daisies, salvia, Whirling Butterfly guara, French hollyhocks, ice plant, bog salvia are all showing back up. That is a picture from last summer, but I can look forward to more blooms in the next few weeks. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy.
Did anybody else catch the gardening skit on Two and a Half Men? I thought I was going to fall over laughing.

  3. Yep, when I am not taking a nap or having a hot flash. I pretty much act silly.

  4. You sound like my kind of person then! I'm not old enough for those dreaded hot flashes yet, but everyone can appreciate a good nap. :)

  6. I'm in the same boat with the hot flashes, aren't they swell? All the better since I'm also fat-makes me especially attractive to be red-faced and sweaty. *sigh* I'll take it over "uncle red and aunt flo" anytime, though! ;-)

  7. Lisa, I'm just taking it as part of life and trying not to let it bug me.

  8. I love daisies! It reminds me of the movie with Meg Ryan- can't remember what it was called, Tom Hanks too- she says something like Daisies are the happiest flower. Yours sure looks happy! I started quite a few seeds on your list there- the dasies, some Salvia, Holly hock (2 kinds) ice plant. First time for me on all- can't wait!
