Rainy Day Projects

It is raining and the forecast says we will have rain for several more days. We need this rain bad so I am happy, but housebound. Rain makes me sleepy and I want to take a nap. I don't want to waste the whole day though.

I should work on the quilt for Christann. The wedding is a month from today. Yikes!!! I better get moving. There is only one row finished. Maybe Mamala will help me when the boys go back to school next week.

  1. I do love to hear rain on the roof. It's real cloudy here, but hasn't done much but a few drops here and there. I'm wondering if we'll get some later tonight.

  3. The rain makes me sleepy too! And we are suppose to have it for the next 4 days! That is a little too much for my taste even if it does mean I don't have to water the container plants all week! You can work on your quilt while I get caught up on some knitting! :-)

  5. I love the sound of rain in the garden Deb, but it does make me sleepy. The heat has the same effect sometimes, lol. Your quilt is pretty. I'm sure once the monkeys go back to school you'll have more time to work on it.

  8. I have loads of stuff lined up to do when it officially turns to the crafting season. I have at least 4 quilts yelling out my name. I love your wedding ring quilt. Looks like a lot of work still to do.

  9. Hi anna, I look forward to seeing your quilts when you get to work on them. We have had rain for three days, so I have had plenty of quilting time.
