Where I Exploit My Blog

My easy breezy library lady job just got a little more complicated. Because I shared this blog with my coworkers, somebody thought I could handle publishing the news letter. Moral of story, be careful who you share your blog with. Right now the newsletter is a little blurb about our schedule and the kids events. They want it to be a little more. Ideas that were tossed around included interviewing patrons and volunteers. That's where you come in. I need to practice interviewing. So, if you are open to being examined under a microscope interviewed on this here blog, leave me a comment.

Some of you are getting direct emails, as I feel you owe me or I am just needy and you seem receptive.

  3. Well I just got home from having a brace put up the length of my left leg. Long story short: I fell backwards over the deck lumber in the yard. So I guess I won't running marathons or gardening much. So you can practice on this captive audience if you so desire.

  4. Thanks Jodi, I will send you an email. As soon as I figure out what questions to ask. Seriously green here.

Racquel, thanks you'll hear from me soon.

Brenda, I was worried you were going to hurt yourself. Thanks, you were one of the people getting a direct email. I already had you on my list:)

I LOVE doing Newsletters, I did one for SIDA and used to put out a funny one when we lived up north and Phill was boss of the depot. You'll have fun with it I'm sure.

  7. Heh. Now look what you've gone and gotten yourself into! But I agree with Foxy---I wrote newsletters for our garden and wildlife book clubs at work for years and loved it (especially things like the "Name That Violet" and "Name That Chicken" competitions). You just need to make it fun, and if anybody can pull that off, it's you! You're, ahem, welcome to interview me and Silence as well if you can stand it.

  9. Hey, Debbi, you can practice on me anytime. I usually steer clear of the paparazzi (they bother me so), but for you, I will make an exception!!!
