A Couple of Awards and a Bunch of Great Bloggers

Ages ago Cinj did this for me.

Isn't she sweet. It took me forever to get to it. Now I have to admit five things I am addicted to.

1. Triscuits.
2. Gardening.
3. Blogging.
4. Reading Blogs.
5. My job.

I decided to use my comments to pick those to pass the award onto. There are so many blogs I love, but the commenting back and forth between us is how we become friends.

Racquel of Perennial Garden Lover
Foxymoron of This Country Life
and VP of Veg Plotting.

Then Tink did it again.

I am supposed to list six things that make me happy.

1. Monkeys.
2. Flowers.
3. Manly Man.
4. Critters.
5. Triscuits.
6. Gardening friends in normal life and bloggy land.

I pass this on to these blogs. Again, they were pulled from the comments.
Cinj, Back atcha girl
Anna Flowergardengirl
Linda of Meadow View Thymes
Brenda, who won't put it up, but it is the thought that counts.
Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage
Two Humans Three Dogs and a Cat
Thanks again to Cinj and Tink

Love all of your blogs and plenty more. Thanks for the comments and conversations. Please don't play if you don't want to. It is all for fun after all.

  1. Thanks Deb! How sweet are you!

  2. So cool! Another Triscuit addict! We're a rare breed, you know. Thank you SO much for the wonderful award. You are one of my favorite blogging buddies and to receive an award from you is a true honor.

    Hugs and love,

  3. Thank you a ton! I have a really bad cold or allergy attack. I never know the difference. I've been posting but not keeping up with much else. I also can't for the life of me figure out wordpress link back. It list everyone who has me on their blogroll so that's how come I miss when you do something wonderful for me.

You are the best Deb and we've been friends a long time. I've enjoyed coming here this past year and getting to know you. I've laughed and cried with you and learned to admire you a great deal.

When I'm not spreading the flu virus or whatever this is I have---I'll be back.

  4. Aww, Debbi you're so sweet. All are excellent choices too. I see that you must really like triscuits a lot. I enjoy our interactions. I couldn't imagine reading blogs and not commenting, I wouldn't be meeting all of you wonderful people if I didn't comment.

  5. Aw thanks Deb. What do I do now? And what is a triscuit?

I love the comments most of all about blogging, you're right that's how we become friends.

  6. Oh, am I that transparent? I suppose I am. I shall play though. Will do it tomorrow. Thanks for thinking of me. I am a cranky fuddy-duddy at putting these things up. Don't know why...

  7. Your welcome Cindy.

Cinj, Using the comments was cheating a little. I like so many blogs and bloggers it is always hard to pick.

Foxy Copy the picture answer the question and choose bloogers to pass the award onto if you like. A triscuit is a snack cracker.

Brenda, Not at all. It is hard to choose who to give it to. I always want to say everybody gets it.

Everyone, thanks for the comments and bloggy love.

  8. Thank you Debbi--you put the topper on a pretty special weekend!

  9. Linda, you are welcome and very glad to hear you had a good weekend.

  10. Thanks Deb, you're a gem! It'll be a while before I pass the award on - need to have a think about which addictions I'm going to let you in on ;)

It's not too late for a dinner party if you still want to play - I'm keeping the link in my sidebar for a couple of weeks. Your weekend and BBQ sound much better alternatives though :)

  11. Thank you Debbi! I have never had one of these things before and have been a bit distracted the past few days but I wil definitely participate. What a lovely idea!

  12. VP, your welcome. I was thinking about trying to find some famous texas gardeners. I have a couple of ideas. How about Martha Gonzales and her rose?

Foxy, Enjoy the award memes are fun, but it is often hard to pick bloggers on to.
