Garden Art Cute or Tacky?

Mr. Subjunctive over at Plants are the Strangest People posted a picture of the funniest piece of yard art I have seen in a long time.
This inspired me to share some of my silliness.
Above is Senor Werm with a Skipper butterfly on his nose. I have been tempted to paint him some obnoxious color, but the voices of reason (y'all) have always talked me down.

Here are a few fishnet floats that did not fit in the half whiskey barrel water garden.

These were gifts. Most gardeners get these type of gifts. I wish the little birds would sit up right. They look like they have keeled over dead.

My only gazing ball. I love it on top of the milk can. I have threatened to paint the milk can too. So far it remains in it's rusty state.
Garden art, cute or tacky?
If you have some garden art to share, leave me a message, and I will link you up.

  1. I'm here!

As you know, I'm not much of a gardener. I try. I really, truly do, but I think it's best to leave the art out of the garden because it would only draw attention to my brown thumb.

  2. The baby bird statues made me laugh out loud! That's hilarious. It looks like the little kid feeding them either feed them bad seed or knocked them over with bad breath! Hilarious!!!!!

    Hugs,
    Cindy

  3. Hi momo, my yard "art" draws attention to the fact that I always need to weed.

  8. Hey, all I have is bunnies and I thought of you the other day when I reposted it to my new and FINAL blog. Debbi, I finally have my name back and feel at home again.

I think your birds go in a pot. I laughed my fool head off at them laying there like that.

One of the reasons I love coming to your blog is cause your garden looks a lot like mine at times. I get use to the weeds growing with the flowers. Harmony.

    I like Joy's answer!

  9. Hi anna, glad you got your name back and the new and final bloog home. I have not had time to get you linked back up again. Maybe tomorrow or monday. I don't know what the deal is with those birds. They have flat bottoms they are just top heavy or something. If weeds growing with flowers is harmony, I gotz some harmony:)
